We ate here whilst staying with relatives around the corner and it was some of the best fish and chips we have ever had (and we live near the home of fish and chips in Whitby) It is all cooked fresh when you go in and everything was lovely and crisp and fresh with no oiliness or soggy batter. Prices were also reasonable. The couple in there were also very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome.

Some places just deserve a good review, the food was delicious and fresh, we were not left with a greasy feel after at all! The staff were really kind and good prices, an unassuming place - everything you’d want from a fish and chips, would recommend.

Wonderful fish and chips! I've been here twice now and both times the fish is fresh and both were cooked to perfection. Not to greasy. Generous portion sizes and friendly staff. They have a good selection on their menu to choose from with Veggie options too. Happy customer 😊.

If the portion of chips I had this evening are anything to judge the rest of the food by then I’d definitely recommend. Popped in here after visiting a friend in the hospital over the road. Saw this place as I walked in checked the reviews and thought I’d grab a portion of chips. I was not disappointed… best chip shop chips I’ve had in years. Even a fussy 9 year old agreed. I’m not often in this area of Brighton I would visit, I might even be persuaded to make a detour to pick up a portion too. Reasonably priced, quick friendly service and delicious.
